Some farm action in Kroombit

After a draining 9 1/2 hr drive inland in the 38 degree heat and struggling aircon, we arrived in insect heaven! The superb fire-cooked roast beef was so tender and tasty, it distracted us from all the miggies trying to make themselves comfortable on our skin. After dinner we learnt how to crack a whip and break the sound barrier (still can't do it). Some of the others attempted to ride the mechanical bull, with Tim coming a close second and narrowly missing out on a free can of VB.

The next morning we had 5 shots each at the clay pigeons, and I sadly missed all 5 (but was comforted by the fact that all the girls missed too!).

Then it was goat wrestling time, and my team won by miles with a record-breaking time of 13 seconds! We had to tackle it, get it down to the ground, flip it onto its side, and 'brand' it with a cold brand.
