NEW, NEW, NEW
OK the job's not really that NEW anymore (Jam Warehouse) but my flat is certainly NEW, and so is the successor to the trusty old, rusted, leaking Opel! Well, the actual car is not new, but to me it is!
I got the keys to my flat about 10 days ago and since then have been fighting with developers about the geyser which they kindly installed in my bedroom cupboard (so now I only have 3 for all my clothes and stuff!). The good news is that they've agreed to move it for me, as long as I don't let on to any of the other owners!! I spose the bad side of it is that it's gonna delay my move-in because I don't really want builders in and out of there while all my things are there too...
The ceilings are really lovely and high, making the flat seem much bigger than it is. And Kieran came to do the snag list and was very impressed with all the finishes, so my snaglist was rather dismal really!
The geyser in my bedroom cupboard... grrrr it's getting moved though :)
The car - it's a 1998 BMW 316i automatic, with power steering (finally!), air-con etc etc and almost-new tan leather interior. Can't wait to zoom around in it, not getting soaked when it's raining!
